Sauna and a Sit

This is a chance to rest your busy mind, dedicating a few hours to being where you are and doing what you're doing. What we have found is that one of the best bits about having a sauna is the way you feel the hour directly afterwards. But often you don't give yourself that time to really feel the benefit. You have to dash off and do something else and get right back into it all…

This session aims at giving you that time. Allowing the sauna and plunge to bring you into a resting and present body and then having a tea followed by a guided meditation to really allow you to be there for a bit. Just so. Sound good?

Joe has been meditating for 16 years and attended several retreats at Gaia house. He has done his Paws b teacher training for teaching meditation to kids in schools and also done his MBSR training. His approach to teaching is straight forward and takes inspiration from Zen tradition and teachers such as D.T. Suzuki.
